CT4

The CT4 is a military training aircraft derived from the Australian designed and built Victa Airtourer. The CT4 was specifically tailored to meet the needs of basic pilot training in the RAAF and were manufactured by New Zealand Aerospace Industries’ The RAAF took delivery of the CT4 aircraft in 1975 and continued operating them until 1993. The aircraft is capable of awesome aerobatics and can withstand up to +6 and -3 G with a maximum speed of 383kph. The aircraft features a large clear canopy which is also ideal for leisurely scenic flights.

CT4A. A19-037 is an ex-military trainer which served with the Royal Australian Air Force 1FTS squadron in Point Cook from 1975 to 1992. It is kept in its original operational condition.

The quoted Flight Times are from engine start to engine shutdown. Times are approximate and may vary according to wind conditions, Air Traffic Control etc. Prices are only applicable to operations from Ballina Airport. A minimum $50 deposit is required when booking a flight. A minimum of 48 hrs notice is required to change a booking. A $50 cancellation fee applies if you fail to show for your flight or cancel within 48 hrs of your booking. Under the Australian National Consumer Code a refund is not given if you simply change your mind. The Yak 52 and CT4 operate under the  ‘Limited Category’ and the terms and conditions for flights in the Yak 52 and CT4 must be signed before flying.
